whacking some balls at a new place yesterday - saujana golf club driving range. quite a nice place obviously. but members only as the golf balls are redeemable thru a chip card on a machine. no cash involved. pretty satisfied with my whacking yesterday too, improved since day one of starting golf again! hehe ahh yes, must get new golf clubs soon. the ones im using are mum's old clubs and they are wearing out. just need to get one or two new clubs to practise. * * * and how cud a chinese new year not have a "yee sang"? a traditional chinese dish which consist of vartiety of colours placed neatly and decoratively on a big plate and everyone shouts "lou ahh...lou ahh" as they use chopsticks to "stir-fry" the dish. it consists of crushed nuts, shredded carrots and radish, pickled stuff, sesame, pamelo, bits of salmon, cracker stuff....and some sweet sauces. it sorta tasted sweet, slightly sourish and crunchy from the crackers. quite an acquired taste. only available during chinese new year. and because we did our "yee sang" ala homestyle, we bought it in a restaurant for about RM38. and because our host pretty much stays alone with her partner, BIG plates and chopsticks is no where to be found. using our so called creative mind....we produced this! "yee sang" in a wok stirfried using forks instead of chopsticks!

cant believe i'm still awake typing. i shud be asleep like 2 hours ago! ah well....was out for an incredibly 12hours today. lunch with ex-colleagues at secret recipe - had the chicken with tumeric sauce which wasnt too bad after all, just that the chicken is a little bit "tough", have to chew a little extra more. after the chickie and a latte, had a try on on kylie's very own hand-rolled ciggie (not hand-rolled sushi). it is actually not too bad. the tabacco was quite "fragrant"...sort of like...more aroma. example, like freshly grind coffee wud taste better. something like that. followed by pancakes at paddington (didnt get a chance to take pics. will definitely go again) at the curve. they serve savoury and sweet pancakes of all sorts. since we just finished lunch, we shared a sweet pancake with strawberries topped with cream, icecream and hot chocolate and almond flakes. (there goes lah my diet) next was catching up with fellow friends after not seeing them for the whole week. bottomless drinks at chillies! hahahahaha such el-cheapo bitches lah we all... this i have to admit! with time to spare, we headed to 1957 to play 4 games of pool. my ass got kicked totally by 2 chicks *ouch*. i even have to hide my face for losing badly....sigh...this is wat happens if u have withdrawal syndrome! hahaha excusessssss alrighty, after pool, the tummy needs refuelling. we had japanesy at hartamas. an average jap restaurant. had the tempura udon, and trying HARD to cut down on carbs, didnt finish the udon. *clap clap* was getting a lil tired by the time i finish dinner, but had to go over to some skool-mate's house for a mini get together and good old friendly gambling session since its CNY. lost 16bucks....damn. decided to stop playing since ive got 2 nights to go to entertain. need to keep extra small change around..hahahaha and so...finally, it was 12.30am....my eyes were tired. i needed home. and i needed some pampering. ahh....home sweeeeeet home! * * * withdrawal syndromes are starting to kick in badly. i need medication soon. real soon.

dong dong dong chiang!!! hahahaha happy cheena new year ah everybody! anyways, today is the 4th day of CNY (there are total of 15 days altogether) and i'm finally back home....ahhh....home sweet home. yes? the traffic jam i had to battle thru...driving 7 hours from subang to sungai petani. usually it only takes 4 hours!!! tables were ready for family gathering dinner....we had steamboat! from the tables, i wud say, we were preparing food for about 50 adults + children! this orange thingy is sweet potato sticky "kuih" (cake). usually made for weddings & chinese festive celebration....yumss! oh yah did i mentioned that its homemade too? orders are welcome thru me - RM0.50 each pc my niece has grown up to be rather pretty! big round round eyes :) also another niece, absolutely cute in that prop. very cheeky last but not least, the weather was so hot, me enjoying red bean ice cream together with daddy and....i just battled thru 3.5hours of traffic from ipoh (usually takes 2hours) to come home and report this to u. enjoy the rest of your holidays and get your ass back to work on monday! :-D

i think this restaurant deserves a review. - JOGOYA serving Japanese Buffet all day long, i believe its open/owned by a Taiwanese company since they stated that they have 7 flagship restaurant in Taipei. situated at Starhill, 3rd Floor, this buffet restaurant surprisingly was not as EXPENSIVE as i thought it would be. upon entering the restaurant, it feels like a high end / high class restaurant with the cool, niche, wood, minimalism feel interior. but with the amount of people in the restaurant, it does feel quite family orientated kind of restaurant which u do not need to be all "high classy". at first i was kinda confused with the whole layout of the restaurant and had trouble searching for our table. buffets were all around the place and plenty of variety too. they have....sashimi - salmon, prawns, squids, tuna etc etc , fresh raw oysters, tempura, korean side dishes, handrolls, chinese dim sum, noodles, steam fish, baked spaghetti with unagi,...well....lots more that i cant even name them all or i've forgotten the names hehe. i would give an extra star to this restaurant for serving bottomless freshly squeeze fruit juice, namely honeydew & watermelon juice. they also have something everyone queue up for - fresh young coconut. very creamy fragrant cold delicious refreshing drink! they even serve tea in pots and coffee machine and a variety of desserts including mousse cakes and movenpick icecream. *burp*! also, u are given "clips" with your table number that u can order food that needs to be cook - such as bake / steam / fried seafood then they will send the food to u but that when i was there last night, i think they were understaff. the food that needs cooking came a little too slow, so, by the time the hot cooked food came, we were already full from all the sashimis and udons and etc etc etc. really, its quite a nice place to go, do check it out. price watch (per pax): Lunch - RM78 Late lunch (hi tea) - RM68 Dinner - RM88 Supper - RM78

how time has pass by so quickly and during that amount of time, so much that i've done, so much that i've learn...the hard way. as u're growing older, u tend to think back wat u have achieve or wat has happen this of the year. u think back...hey, wat did i do last bday compared to current one...or yeah...valentines is coming up...yeah...AGAIN and how did i spend it last year? and so forth....u get the idea of wat i'm really trying to say. so yeah....although lately things have been great to me, am really living life to the fullest, i cant help it but certain black cloud of memories do shadow over and remind me of the pass. its been nearly one year now since it happened...the alexis birthday champagne, manhattan fish market and poster, shure earphones, the flight from penang, the KL sentral ride...gawd, naming these things down (dunno why i'm even typing these things) makes me heavy hearted, yes, they haunt me...and as i take it in boldly, i cant help it but push it aside and start my life anew. im glad i've picked up from where i fell and got up and move on, and maybe....it could have been a blessing in disguise. i'm now (hopefully) a stronger woman with a steadfast mind, knowing exactly wat i want and thanks to you, i go to sleep smiling everynight looking forward to a brand new day. as quoted by dawn, i'm fat ah, but i'm also happy. are u happy?

manage to catch Memoirs of Geisha at 1Utama last night, midnight sneak preview! woohoo! was so excited about it. i shall not spoil it for the rest of u who have not watch it, but i absolutely adore Gong Li (Hatsumomo) and Kaori Momoi (Mother) for their stunning performances. for me, i think Zhang ZiYi didnt do as well as she could have or maybe someone else should have taken her role instead. a recommended watch. a recommended read.

....setting up an office...is....definitely not as easy as it seemed. and its sucking up more money before u can even start earning it. been looking around lately on areas where i cud rent a small space for office works. came to a conclusion, a place thats about 800sq is ideal for business like mine with about 4 to 5 staff. and so far, i've got my eye on Sunway Mas. the rental is affordable, the size is just nice, pretty easy access to parkings and plenty of food around that area. so basically....in the next 2 weeks, before it hits chinese new year, i've gotta sit down with my biz partner and discuss on.... - rental cost - basic renovation + office quipment/furniture - computers - registering "sdn bhd" company - expenses its all quite a new experience to me, i'm learning it step by step as i go along...since i'm no business student, no experience in the business line whatsoever....so friends and loved ones...please be patient with me through this journey of mine... :-)

hahahha....God knows when was the last time i actually finish reading a proper book! well.....hopefully....as one of my new year resolution...i shall begin reading. and so far.....i manage to finsh a book in january! woohoo! resoultion accomplished. can break it already hahahahahah just finish reading Memoirs of a Geisha like....4 hours ago. for a person who hated reading, i love it. learned a bit about kimonos, japanese culture, politics within, etc etc etc somehow...i pitied Nobu who waited for her for 15 years and got nothing, but also pitied the Chairman and thinks that he deserves what he got in the end as well. its a good read anyway. looking forward to the movie!

it was indeed quite a lovely day today. public holiday (not like it matters to me much..) it wasnt superbly hot day, coz it rained a little in the afternoon. went for driving range at Sunway Extreme Park (first time there) ...quite a nice place, but they are abit costly. they charge RM10 per 100balls compared to "the valley" near subang parade which charge only RM7 per 100balls. next spot to check out is the one near IKANO. :) pro golfers...?

oh no....the worst has arrived. i was out doing grocery shopping today and guess what? "Anakku", a baby product brand has begun their chinese new year ad! chinese new year songs are playing everywhere in the supermarkets.... argh!!!! time for Shure to the rescue! * * * and.....bullshit with the diet!!! i had noodles for lunch, guava for tea time, and lovely dinner at a local restaurant with a plate of rice. then...i had a piece of cake at Alexis! damn damn damn! BUT.....it was great company of people and the ambient at Great Eastern Alexis was splendid. i love it. new venue to venture :-D

new year resolution : 1) lose weight and keep fit! (meaning no flabby arms as well) 2) start my biz plan and have office finallllllyyyyyyy and argh! went to weigh myself just now (after dinner), in the last 1 or 2 months....i've gluttonally ate more than i shud...and i'm back to square one where i begin. this is horrible. this is not acceptable! from this second onwards, strict diet starts till chinese new year...meaning i have just about 25days to lose 2kg! * * * after following my aunt the whole day today to see some properties/real estate, i learn a thing or two about properties and i think it does me good. and it is definitely a competitive world out there. and i learnt something very important which i'd like to share with u all, thats to stay "organized" & make sure u do your "homework" before selling something. u HAVE to know your product well, have notes ready and be ready to answer as much as possible when your client ask something. impression is very important and you only leave the first impression once. the golden opportunity. * * * finally touching chapter 6! :-D

babysitting...is exhausting. and no...i'm not talking about babysitting a kid....i was in actual fact been babysitting my aunt the whole day today. mum has gone to penang and i had to accompany my aunt... was out with her since 12pm to KLCC doing shopping, grocery shopping and condominium shopping as well. thank God parking and traffic was not horrible today. by the time we left KL...it was 6pm. my body and mind was beginning to lose its concentration. gotta do this routine again tmmr, apparently 4 to 5 places to hunt ....o Lord, give me strength.... * * * as u are reading further on, i'm going to rant like a spoiltbrat. yes....i had japanese dinner again tonight. and yes...i've emphasized the word "AGAIN". i think in like 2 weeks, i ate in the same restaurant 3 times. and mind you, this this pretty much fine japanese dining. one would not complain about eating gorgeous food....but if i were to go near anything that taste somewhat like miso soup...my taste buds will go bland! *bleah* and.... i actually felt like a pauper today being formed into an elegant lady today. its like "My Fair Lady" ...undergoing training to speak, act and think like the rich. its actually rather stressful... and... if one can be trained to be rich, can one be trained to be poor? i wonder.... * * * oh yahh....check out Naili's Place at Taipan. its finally open here. they have one somewhere in KL...apparently Sentul? food & drinks is mamadei la....but the ambient and everything, its good to meet up and catch up with friends. glad that finally taipan/usj has somewhere to go to. hehe

:-D made another roadtrip to penang again for a great 2006 start. 3 days, 2 nights, 850km to and fro, tremendous amount of sinful food...enjoy these pics.... the usual designated driver the pack on the way back...posers take 2! and this tibetan guy....i felt as though i was taking pics for the national geographic! hahahaha and from this trip, i manage to capture some great pix ...not bad for the effort dead trees along the high way. these are dead palm trees and i find them rather eerie looking... stopping at the roadside and getting down from the car was quite a thrill, the fast moving cars and trucks zooming pass u by, u feel the momentum...and u actually feel small... komtar. central of penang. while waiting for lunch, i just went snapping this old building. ever since i could remember, this building has not change. its still as old, dingy and musky. * * * to top it off....i've read till page 52! chapter 4 haha

aunt's bday today! celebrated at Overseas Rest. at PJ and i got her a lovely cake from Bakerzin at Bangsar Village. my fav cake at the moment - frasier. super yum yum. we were all so stuffed with the food that we had...*burp* awesome chinese food. (there goes my diet la...bleah!) i also got her a ipod nano STM carrier bag for her....i myself love it....but i dun have a nano unfortunately hehehe and it was so cute.....mum and aunt both listening to iPod and singing to themself. dont u just love them? i do...very much. :) * * * oh yah....bought "Memoirs of a Geisha" about 2 days back and started reading today. manage to finish chapter 1. woohoo. ...i heard a sound like a bird's wings flapping in panic. Perhaps it was my heart, i dont know.

where do i begin? hmmm ok...basically...my aunt wanted to get a condo, so i drove mum and her to damansara perdana today and checked out the showrooms there. immediately after seeing the Armanee Terrace II, we all fell in love with the place. a new upcoming duplex condominium of about 2500sq/ft with garden in the air that will be ready in 2008. lovely. yes....lovely indeed...but also expensive. the corner lot at wing A at level 15 came up to RM1.2mil. well...aunt love it and after converting to australian money...its freaking cheap to her. so yeah..after about 2 hours at the showroom discussing and going thru house models and price talk, we all got really excited and was gonna pay deposit tmmr. kewl~ off we went to have some starbucks coffee after all our hardwork, then a call came in from the salesman that goes somewhat like this..."mam, sorry ah, the unit that u wanted has been bought/booked by a buyer this morning. my colleague didnt update me. so sorry, but there is a unit at wing B, level 17, would u be of interest?" puhhhleaseeee....wing B's view is blocked my Armanee Terrace 1 and there is afternoon sun. no thanks. our spirits were pretty much dampened by the news from the salesguy and thought that he wasnt afterall very sincere and honest with us. i mean come on, 3 ladies at the showroom for 2 hours wanting to purchase a condominium worth a million plus plus, and u come and waste our time. poor aunt, she was so excited about the condominium and was just telling us how she would want to renovate it and how i could go over to stay as well. sigh...oh well...maybe this cud be a blessing in disguise anyway....more condominium to check out! i'm beginning to love real estate business. thats where the big bucks are anyway heehee...if only i have the cash...i would get myself involve in real estate.

it was .....one heck of a night this 2005 xmas! it didnt start off too well for me on xmas eve, coz it was drizzling when i went to pick the turkey up, and i was hungry...so the fragrance and aroma or the roast turkey was tempting! next thing i know, i had to pick up 3 fellas and it was raining heavily. and i drive a 2 door car. with the rain, the chores of buying tomato sauce, ice and beer, picking 3 people up from diff location and unloading the stuff under rainy condition...from kelana jaya to ss2 to atria to ss2 to atria and finally to kota damansara....5.30pm till 7.30pm...i cud have arrive at ipoh already! but once we got to our destination, thats when all the fun and party begins! woohoo! glorious food, we had mash potato, salad, sandwiches, turkey, sotong ball, chicken wing, pizzas and heaps of drinks (i think there were more drinks than food!)...dvd, pictionary and drinking games....the night lasted till near dawn.... finally lying down on my bed at 6am, little did i know, i had to get up on my feet at 9.30am to attend xmas service and xmas lunch... i was exhausted by 4pm....thats when i finalllllly got my beauty sleep and charged to the max for japanesy food again at night!!! i had once again the same unagi(eel) tea rice and we had seafood sashimi. *yums!* and oh...Asahi Beer is yummy. seafood sashimi...

:-D finally....cudnt be stuffed anymore, the temp. phone i was using was starting to die on me yesterday, so i went ahead and got myself a new phone - K750i. not too bad really, pretty cool phone with heaps of function to keep me bz the whole day. but i also found out that the firmware was a bit old, it needs some upgrade, and was trying to do it the whole night, cant seem to get my PC to install the update programme. oh well...manage to add in few new themes into the phone and added few mp3. that shud satisfy me at the moment. next is to key in all phone numbers...sighh....headache! (yeah yeah..i know..can sync..but i blardy need Tiger to be able to sync! Panther iSync cannot work..damn!) oh well....i'd like to add once again, brother has been fabulous, he drove me there to get the phone and had lunch together. (must give credit laaaa) anyways.....apart from all that, mum also got me a new hairdryer! wooohooo! (yeah..aunt stole mine the last time she was here!) so yeah...since tonight was supposedly some chinese festive day call.."tung" or soemthing like that, we were suppose to be home and have dinner together as a family. and since mum was too lazy to cook, we went out for japanesy... and from the pics...geez, looks like we got a little too extreme with the fishiness! i had the unagi set with tea rice, sashimi, seafood salad, grill salmon fish head to be shared & some seaweed yucky looking appetizer thingy, brother ordered tempura set & dad ordered a garlic fried rice. *burp*

hmmmm.....not too bad for a start. been a vegan for nearly 2 whole days, until dinner tonight. monday - lunch & dinner vegetarian tuesday lunch - also vegetarian. tea time was beef stew soup then comes dinner!!! chicken, pork and pork on dinner table. wat was mum thinking?! so little time, so much to do, so little cash. was just looking at my bank account, i'm BROKE! argh! not much payment from clients, magazine work is quite a hassle with tight deadlines, a website i'm working on is being delayed, and i havent even got my mock up done! come 2006, i need to re-organized my life definitely. paper cut must give proper salary and salary slip to Juan with EPF as well. hopefully to set up a small little office so that i can hire a part time junior artist to do all my shitty work while i can go out and do servicing and sales. driving up and down town is really tiring in this hot malaysian weather, by the time i get back to start work, my eyes feels like closing and i feel as though the computer screen is sucking up my mojo. in no time, i'll age tremendously...and thats not good news! 2006 new year resolution (never really had serious resolutions before) - set up mini office and get my ass burning hot!

:-) apart from work, things have been great for the last 2 days. parents are back from europe (they were there for abt 12 days), miss them heaps, glad that they are home now, and had a ex-colleague gathering last night. it was soooo good to meet up with my ex-colleagues last night. had quite a few good laughs, beer and gorgeous food. we can just be silly all night long and talk crap, just feels good. no pressure. and....thanks to Stef, i've got my nails painted! :-D we were quite in a hurry, so the fingernails was a bit smudged, but she did a fabulous job on the toes. love them! and surprisingly, this time around, i'm not in a hurry to get a new replacement phone. just can't be stuffed anymore i guess. quite laid back and taking my own sweet time. hehehe all in all, things are great. looks like 2005 jinxed year is finally turning around for a brand new 2006!

this year has definitely been a jinxed year for me. one unfortunate incident after another....its becoming a norm! fed-up i'm telling you. only 2 weeks ago, i accidently bang someone's car while reversing, and yesterday, i lost my phone. yes.....my beloved P910i. aiiiii......i think i barely used it for 3 months?? *poof* gone. pickpocketed again! damn damn damn! i'm fcuking pissed. i really loved that phone except that its bulky and the camera isnt that great, otherwise, the functions and everything ....argh! i miss my phone. so friends who are reading this, dun call me /sms till thursday ok? i cant get my sim card replaced until thursday unfortunately. i'm using a temp prepaid card at the moment. do MSN me or email me if u need the number la anyways...now i've got a low budget for a new phone, which in a way is good. i think i'll just get an el-cheapo phone and if its lost, i wont be this depress. or a light phone to hang around the neck! u want my phone? chop my neck off u bugger! argh! * * * other than a missing phone, i've gotten myself sorethroat and flu as well. but all is good, i'm recovering real fast. *wink*

*phew* just got back from sungai petani (kedah) last evening. the whole roadtrip back hometown was such a rush one. but i'd like to comment that for now, i've totally changed my point of view on my brother. i think he is the sweetest brother around hahahha for now that is until he piss me off next round. hahaha :) thanks for driving to and from sungai petani and being so understanding. it rained and rained throughout the whole journey home on another hand, i learnt something new abt being "tired from driving". according to a friend, u get tired from driving coz u are not only concentrating, but your body is in "motion"/"movement", hence, your blood cells are moving pretty fast and they are elongated. yes, blood cells being elongated will make you tired. during the funeral, on the 3rd day, where the body was gonna be cremated, we were given a piece of towel each. what does it symbolizes anyway? well, many used it wipe their sweat, some tears, some mouth, some just blow their nose right into it, and as for me, i think it looks kinda cool on me arm. time to get some cool colour cloth and wear! :D

"dalam tindakan"....and i started wondering, what the heck is "in action"??? then i saw another board, same board but in english, which says "work in progress". hmm..i reckon the malay version is very misleading, "dalam tindakan" usually meant in action or under investigation. (correct me if i'm wrong!) im not particularly good in BM, but the malay version whud be somewhat like "kerja dalam....soemthing something" and why did the english had ALL CAPS, but the malay version didnt sound as "important". very misleading indeed!

if monday blues wasnt bad enuff, got a phone call from my uncle during lunch time with a bad news, my cousin of 22years old had just passed away this morning. since my parents are away, me and brother will be going back hometown to pay respect and attend the funeral. yet again, another death happens this year. it cud be a sign or soemthing, but it hits me right this moment. i am not close to this cousin of mine at all. but we do have family gathering every chinese new year, and its a must to go back hometown. and i dreaded going back each year. but somehow, hearing the news, my heart sank. feeling stoned, i really have nothing to say, but the fact that no matter how young or old, close or not close to this person, he is still a family member, and i really cant imagine how his parents & sis wud feel. and i'm actually glad to see how well the whole family, all uncles and aunties and cousins start contacting each other feel for each other. this has never really happened to us (family) before. each year is usually new born babies and weddings, but death, this is the first time an immediate family has passed away. (well, specially for the younger generation like me) i think....going back hometown every year during chinese new year will no longer be dreadful for me

it has been the longest time ever since i have to wake up so early on a saturday morning. moreover it was a raining morning, just felt like going back to bed but i got up anyway, and made my way to KL to attend some photography seminar held by Canon. kena con a little though, coz the guest speaker was R. Ian Lloyd, a well-known photographer who worked for national geographics was to speak for the seminar and on the "ad", it didnt really say what time the seminar ends or what time he is speaking. (or rather maybe i was too lazy to read the ad anyway)... and so, arrived there a little late, and canon was of coz promoting their EOS dslr cameras and talking about all the technical stuff. i couldnt really be stuff listening without a cuppa coffee and so off we went to starbucks and had breakkie. soon we realized, damn, its already 11+, made our way back there and it was still on technical stuff and i thought the seminar was gonna end at 1pm! good thing my appointment to PC fair at 2pm was cancelled coz Ian Lloyd only started speaking at 1pm! yadda yadda, cut story short, got hungry at 2+, went hunting for food and got stuck in jam on the way home. once touch home base, konked out immediately on comfy bed till evening..... now.....time for party! :P

argh. hair pulling. pimples popping. wrinkles showing. i cant sleep. switched off the comp, lying there...rolling left, rolling right. i cant sleep. i kept on seeing things in my imagination. i see d50, paper cut, expression@, her, 50mm lens, 300mm zoom lens, calculation of money needed for biz, my uncollected cheque at PJ and cheques not ready for collection that i have to chase, singapore trip, xmas presents, sample diaries from KL... i need all the sleep in the world to do all those things tmmr. which come to think of it, wat am i doing tmmr exactly? i shall continue working on the mock-up and finish it up asap to apply for license. cant wait to make it happen. so excited over it. BUT I STILL NEED TO FEEL SLEEPY!!! arghhhh * * * oh on another note, went to klang for dinner at this place call "hou moon", which sounded like "really bored" in cantonese. that place was packed and noisy. super alot of people. dad made reservations, so we got a table pretty fast. the food was fantastic. super super fab!!! unfortunately i didnt manage to take any pics for it. we had - 2 X roasted duck and "cha siew"....2 thumbs up! - 2 X some tofu and spring onion also very good - 2 X bitterguord fried with egg...this is the best ever dish i had. ratings of 10 over 10! - 2 x spinach in soup base - 2 X deep fried sorta calamari thingy ("lai liu har") ...too oily i reckon, but they fried it together with salted egg! yums! - 2 X f*cking huge asam(spicy and sour) fishhead. biggest fish head ive ever eaten in my life - 1 X gingered steam fish tail (pretty good too) - 1 X freshly cut pineapple for dessert (SUPER SWEET!) - 18 plates of white rice - 2 pots of chinese tea - several cans of soft drink - BYO whiskey we had 2 tables, 18 ppl in total, so altogether those dishes mentioned above are served twice except for gingered steam fish tail and pineapple, the total bill came up to a super crazy cheap RM387!!!!! for 18 ppl!!!!! we have to go back there one day thats for sure! * * *

didnt manage to go to a local fun fair last night due to rain, rain and more rain. tonight is actually the last night for the fair, hope to go there and re-live childhood memories! (what the heck, been told its only RM3 per entry) well, since there was no fun fair, we ended up at a bday party dinner at hartamas anyway. had good dinner and drinks after. Chill was thought to be closed down, has re-open, same place, same name, but different management. but the drinks they have there are still similiar i guess! coz the bartender gave a drink call something like..."arachi" or soemthing like that to my bday friends, (which was the same drink they gave to my ex-colleague a year or 2 ago) and immediately, right after the drink, off they go to the loo for some puke! i think we were the only crowd there that night, no other guest around, only the owners of the place whom we found quite annoying, the waiters and bartenders who had nothing to do but kept re-filling our mugs and clearing the ash tray and 2 chicks who were friends of the bartender whom we became friendly with. hopefully tonight's weather will permit a visit to the fun fair!!!

:( been having nightmares 2 nights in a row... cant quite remember whole dreams....but they were something like... dream 1: some husband and wife on divorce case and over children custody. i was sort of middle person or relatives or something like that to this couple. i had to report to the guy when the wife comes and pick her children up, and somehow, the guy got really furious, angry and gone crazy. i was sitting at the back of the car and once they got to the house, the guy beat the wife up till she bleeds in front of her children.... dream 2: this one turned out rally dramatic, i thought it could be made into a movie, but i got a phone call once i woke up, the whol dream was swept out of my mind. remembered bits of it, which was basically something like i was associated to some abuse welfare thingy, getting help for domestic abuse. and i was involved in a case and somehow towards the end of the dream, before i woke up, this big size tall muscular guy gave me a slap on the face cause i was trying to help his daughter/wife or soemthing. the slap was so real, i felt the pain on my right cheek, and i cud hear a certain "numbness" in my ear, u know, where u got hit, and u lose your hearing for like a split second. sorta like black out for 2 sec......it was such a stressful situation, i couldnt help it but woke up with tears

datin's book launch

was out whole morning to monitor the set up of backdrop for tonight's book launch event. problems that arised was... 1. the mercedes-benz which the datin is lying on cant be seen clearly due to printing. event management asked me, the backdrop didnt go through colour separation ah? i was like...."what the..." backdrop also got colour separation one meh? (is there??? pls enlighten me on this point so that i can look into it further next time), now the wacoal booth which is on the right side of the backdrop seems overpowering the main sponsor - mercedes. coz wacoal has this lightbox thingy shining bright bright. hehe 2. i think the sponsor logos are not big enuff. well, its big enuff for visibility sake, but i think they are a tad bit too small. (my fault) 3. the backdrop is covering 2 aircon. which arises a big problem of being too warm in the marquee right now. this issue has been discussed, but were told to go ahead anyway. wonder what they are gonna do with it now...

yeaps.....this green looking yucky puke-like food is call "lui cha". from what i know, its a Hakka delicacy (vegetarian), which is actually one of my fav food. it consist of brown rice, veges, beans, long bean, tofu and etc etc ....then you pour this hot green soup which taste & smell minty onto the ingredients...yummy! so far, the best lui cha i've eaten is situated at Kepong in one of the organic shops. u can hardly find lui cha around, but i heard there is a shop selling it in Puchong. yet to find where is that. any other lui cha fans out there?? * * * and oh...today's weather was fab. so so so melbournish.....rainy, gloomy and chilly. nice nice nice. best-nya.

had dinner at some place at Ampang, this place call Bora Ombak. quite a nice place, Balinese settings and all, though the surroundings arent that nice - sports complex and low cost flats. hehe thanks to Astro Tayangan Unggul for inviting to their raya open house dinner there. after dinner, headed to No Black Tie at KL. they had just re-open again. i didnt go to the old one, but according to friend, the old one was much smaller. the location was rather dodgy, dark alley place, but the exterior and interior deco and renovation was fab. i fell in love with that place, the setting and ambience of the whole place + jazz music. fantastic. would love to go there again. recommended - A MUST. 4.5 out of 5 rating. * * * i find the P910i a lil bulky these days. the functions, no doubt, best i've ever used in any phone, but its a lil too bulky for my liking. sometimes i dun want to carry a bag and i just want to put the phone in the pocket. and i bought a little bag/pouch thingy recently, and P910 cant fit in it...*sob sob* and i want to get crumpler...even that cannot accomodate to p910i!!! any recommendation wat phone to get that has all those fuctions in p910? i dun need words, excel and powerpoint la. just need a good organizer, notepad and high capacity on address book. thinking of waiting for the slide nokia 6270.

GLG (good looking guy) speaks to juan in mandarin, but translated below; GLG : do u speak mandarin? juan : er...a little GLG : i'm from taiwan and i'm looking for my friend juan : er....ok....where is your friend? GLG : are u familiar with this place? do you work here? juan : no, i dun work here. where is your friend? which shop? out 2 whole days

*phew* finally settled down...after being out for 2 whole days. its actually....tiring! badminton, shopping, dvd session, dining & local play... i guess that pretty sums it all. didnt manage to go for John Digweed at Zouk last friday though, couldnt gather enough ppl to go party, but ended up having a great night of othello. my shopping ticklist has not been completed yet, i guess i'll be doing more shopping the coming week, but at least i've got 2 items off the list - jeans & sportshorts. lesson learnt this weekend - BY ALL MEANS, TRY TO AVOID MIDVALLEY DURING WEEKENDS. parking was crazy, i had to round the lots for nearly 30mins! - BY ALL MEANS, TRY TO AVOID SUPPER! BELLY IS PROTUDING! * * * The Girl from ipoh play was good. it was held at KLPAC and last night was the last performance. the singing was fabulous, very well done and in tune. worth all the practiced sessions! haha but as for the acting, i think one of the actors could have done better, and storyline could be improved, but overall, was good and props were good too. well done girls! :) * * * and its quite a weird weekend this is, coz i've been bumping into ex-colleagues.maybe its time for me to ask them out for lunch these days :) miss them

we should do this more, i kinda enjoy playing table tennis at night. its cooler during the night and there was no mozzies. but then again it rained, maybe thats why there are no mozzies. nonetheless, it was an enjoyable night and money saving!!! only spent on dinner which was less than 10bucks. improvement : bring portable speakers & bring some light food if we are playing during dinner time * * * pepsi is sleeping in the new basket finalllllllyyyyyyyy, we threw away her old basket and got her a new one many many months back, but she refuses to sleep in the new one. lately, maybe coz of the rainy coldish weather during the night, she has been sleeping on the basket for the last 3 nights already. :-D * * * life's been good lately i see things in clearer picture these days, my heads cleared up and business is "hopefully" growing, some potential clients out there. only sucky thing is i havent gotten payment for old jobs done and i'm running low on the moolah and i need new clothes!!! oh, and learnt new word today - brolly...i thought it was brocolli at first...hahhahahaha silly me its just f*cking great!

been raining whole day today, the weather is so good to be in bed haha yes, it has been a whole week of holiday and last night was just a final night of chilling and hanging out with buddies. from poolside party to BBQ to movie marathon. *phew* its as tiring as working! haha kidding~ i must say....good job on those who organized the poolside party BBQ, the kebab and bruschetta was ace! and the next movie marathon, can we have Star Wars puhleaseeeeeeee :P

scenario: juan doing grocery shopping, bought some food, toiletries and body shampoo. body shampoo itself cost RM20. while paying, the guy scan scan the stuff, then minus something coz there was like beep bepp, then scan and total came up to RM22. i gave him Rm100, then as he returned the change, i thought...wait a min,...the total shud be way more than RM30! so, i told the cashier, er...i think u missed something out. the soap itself cost RM20. how cud the total be only RM22? he checked and he scanned the body shampoo again. sigh... so.....should i have shut up and gotten a free body shampoo? or wud i walk away feeling totally in guilt? i guess i did the right thing....
